The war came to an end with the creation of giant indestructible mega-robots designed for military missions and balance of power. With the treaty came peace and both sides merged into one government the New Federation. The armed forces were reduced to one single mega-robot the MRAS-2 an 80-foot-tall Mega-Robotic-Assault-System now used to guard the most dangerous spot on earth. The MRAS-2 now patrols the highly restricted area known as the Crosshair Zone the site of the Toxic Tomb-a dumping ground for the most dangerous toxic waste. Periodically lone-wolf terrorist groups try to get to the tomb to gain materials to launch chemical warfare against New Federation police forces. But MRAS-2 is the most sophisticated weapons system ever built and is indestructible. Recently the mega-robot has become a tourist attraction and is used for tours through the wasteland. While on one such tour the MRAS-2 is attacked by an extremely violent terrorist group known as the Murdaggians. Their leader turns out to be a frequent passenger on the mega-robot Professor B. Wa-Lee who hijacks the MRAS-2 and heads for the Toxic Tomb. If he succeeds in opening the tomb the Murdaggians can carry out their threat to destroy Los Angeles. The only hope to stop the Murdaggians is Lane Drury the robot's pilot who has escaped and knows how to stop the MRAS-2. With the help of Lisa the daughter of the New Federation President Drury finds another mega-robot still intact. The MEGA-1 rises from beneath the earth like a colossus and confronts the MRAS-2 before the Toxic Tomb is penetrated. Now Drury and Wa-Lee both know theirs must be a fight to the finish. • Hannah And Her Sisters [Blu-ray]Hannah And Her Sisters | Blu Ray | (20/02/2017) from £N/A   |  Saving you £N/A (N/A%)   |  RRP £N/A

One of Woody Allen's best-loved films, this won three richly deserved Oscars* (for Michael Caine, Dianne Wiest and the screenplay), and is a joy from start to perfectly judged finish. Hannah (Mia Farrow) is a devoted wife, loving mother and successful actress. She's also the emotional backbone of the family, and her sisters Lee (Barbara Hershey) and Holly (Dianne Wiest) depend on this stability while also resenting it because they can't help but compare Hannah's seemingly perfect life with theirs. But with her husband Elliot (Michael Caine) becoming increasingly interested in Lee, it's clear that Hannah might have problems of her own. An unusually strong supporting cast includes Allen himself as Hannah's existentially conflicted ex-husband and Max von Sydow as a perfectionist artist, but it's Caine who practically steals the film as a middle-aged man behaving like a lovesick teenager. It also has some of Allen's greatest one-liners, with a philosophical discussion about the nature of good and evil getting shot down with How should I know why there were Nazis? I don't even know how the can opener works.

Marius Goring and Maria Schell give intense performances in this poignant romantic drama set in Nazi-occupied Belgium. Based on Noelle Henry's novel Je ne suis pas une heroine, So Little Time's love story between a young Belgian woman and a German officer proved highly controversial on its release in 1952, ensuring that it has never been released on home video until now. It is featured here in a brand-new digital transfer, with its as-exhibited theatrical aspect ratio. When war clouds burst over Europe for the second time in a generation, the Belgians again suffer the humiliation of occupation; Madam de Malvines and her daughter Nicole find their chateau outside Brussels partially requisitioned by Colonel von Hohensee, the local German commander. Despite their initial hostility, however, Nicole and Hohensee find they have something in common: a love of music. Nicole eventually begins to see Hohensee as an artist first and a soldier second and comes to realise that she is hopelessly in love with him and that he, too, deeply loves her...
