Written by Rollin and Jacques Ralf an associate brought in by the financiers The Escapees contains all the magic and fairytale qualities of films like Fascination and Requiem For A Vampire but somehow never quite reaches their brilliance. That said The Escapees has everything one expects from a Rollin film including two beautiful young women scenes of death burlesque shows in a junkyard and Brigitte Lahaie!
