The devil made me do it. After being honourably discharged from the Navy Elvis Valderez returns to him hometown of Corpus Christi in Texas in the hope of finding his father whom he has never met. He soon discovers that he is the pastor of a local Baptist church and married with children. Serving as a reminder of his wayward past Elvis' father rejects him.
