  The 2009 FA Cup Final was one of the most eagerly anticipated in recent years. It was the quickest ever FA Cup Final goal and sent the Everton fans into ecstasy. A shell shocked Chelsea slowly worked their way back into the match and deservedly equalised midway through the match courtesy of a powerful header from Didier Drogba. Chelsea continued to dominate their Merseyside rivals - although the Toffees had chances of their own - so it came as no surprise when they took the lead. A wonderful left foot strike from Frank Lampard was worthy of winning any match and it proved to be the decisive goal as the Blues held on to record a memorable victory.
