  Featuring a montage of highlights from his weekly Friday night series, Graham Norton: For Your Pleasure is a splendid showcase of the slickly uproarious, impeccably vulgar chat show host who is part Frankie Howerd, part Dame Edna Everage, part Julian Clary, but mostly himself. He hosts this programme in elderly make-up, enjoying the ministrations of a young manservant. Norton fans will be familiar with the formula. Included here are quite outrageously lewd confessions from members of the audience, one of whom made love to a frozen chicken only to find his parents tucking into it the next day. But it's the guests who are the true staple of the show. Mostly women, mostly glamorous but just over the hill, and so willing to play good sports to Norton, they include Cher, Dolly Parton, Alison Moyet, Dolph Lundgren (who stoically endures Norton's flirtatious attentions) and David Ginola. The host doesn't so much interview his guests as regale them with surreal Internet clips of penguins tripping each other up or goats having heart attacks. They're also willing to dish a little dirt: Cybill Shepherd confides that "there was one thing Elvis didn't eat… 'til he met me". Norton has priceless fun with Sophia Loren, who he has order a pizza named after her over the phone and play in a mock-EastEnders sketch, as well as introducing Martine McCutcheon to the delights of the Hot Cock, a microwaveable penis substitute. It's gross, camp, crude yet pulled off with great panache. On the DVD: Graham Norton: For Your Pleasure comes with a droll commentary, in which Norton comments on the curious English accent Gillian Anderson adopted for the show and pours scorn on the cheapness of the props. He's also interviewed at length in his dressing room, where he proudly shows off the bizarre, vulgar and kitsch items viewers send him. Also interviewed is resident audience member Betty, elderly butt of his jokes, who reveals that her newfound fame enabled her to jump the queue at her orthopaedic ward. --David Stubbs

  Much like Richard Adams' wonderful novel this animated tale of wandering rabbits is not meant for small children. It is, however, rich storytelling, populated with very real individuals inhabiting a very real world. The animation is problematic, sometimes appearing out of proportion or just below par; but it seems to stem from an attempt at realism, something distinguishing the film's characters from previous, cutesy, animated animals. A band of rabbits illegally leave their warren after a prophecy of doom from a runt named Fiver (voiced by Richard Briers). In search of a place safe from humans and predators, they face all kinds of dangers, including a warren that has made a sick bargain with humankind, and a warren that is basically a fascist state.   Thunderbird 6 was the second feature spin-off from the hit Gerry Anderson puppet-animation TV series Thunderbirds, and revolved around a new addition to the line-up of International Rescue's five emergency craft. The plot sees Lady Penelope, Alan, Tin-Tin and Parker as the only passengers on the maiden, round-the-world flight of a futuristic airship, which is hijacked in a bid to capture Thunderbirds 1 and 2. From the moment Alan arrives on a Bond-style jetpack, the film veers away from the TV show into espionage adventure territory, and while the only people International Rescue rescue are their own members, they kill a fair number of baddies. The global tour means there are more locations than ever, and though the story takes a long time developing, the Die Hard-on-an-airship finale delivers the most explosive set piece of Gerry Anderson's career. As for Thunderbird 6, opinion remains divided as to whether it's an ingenious twist or a disappointing gimmick, but the movie's blend of model and live-action footage results in two superbly staged stunt sequences. Predecessor Thunderbirds Are Go (1968) is also available, and the Andersons would make one further feature film, Journey to the Far Side of the Sun (1969). On the DVD: The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 ratio image is sharp, full of detail and boasting well-saturated colours, only the briefest moments of damage and some graininess revealing the age of the print. The film was shot in ultra-wide Techniscope, and there are moments were it is very obvious that parts of the original 2.74:1 picture have been cropped at the sides. The mono sound is powerful with no hint of distortion. Extras are the original trailer, galleries of behind the scenes photos and promotional artwork, though the highlight is the highly informative commentary by Sylvia Anderson and director David Lane where they note how they made this film and worked on Captain Scarlet simultaneously.--Gary S Dalkin
