  Vicky is a woman married to a rich old man who has one foot in the grave. Gregory Harrison plays Mike Riordon a district attorney who is young handsome and living at home with his Irish mum. Vicky's husband Arthur gets Mike involved in a merger of two companies even though he knows that Mike and Vicky were a couple in the past and that she had broken up with him. Whilst Mike and Vicky are attending a party Arthur is alone at home and a burglar appears out of nowhere and shoots him point blank. Upset Vicky turns to Mike and at the same time a man appears to be following them. Vicky inherits everything from Arthur which leaves Arthur's two children very angry because they know that their father had changed his will but he hadn't been able to give it to his lawyer. Yet there is no sign of the new will and so Vicky gets everything.Vicky and Mike take off together for a while but after again realizing that they are being followed they go their separate ways until Mike starts to find clues on who had Arthur murdered. He confronts Vicky who tells him that she had no part of it and he believes her but then he sets himself up for his own death. A very strange movie.

The students have an ally in Mr. Drucker (Malik Yoba) one of their teachers who encourages them to fight for their rights. He pays a price for his leadership and is fired by Principal Weller. He decides to use his dismissal to make a change of his own by producing a documentary chronicling the experiences of students who are faced with similar issues. As the story unfolds Donovan befriends a group of kids including love interest Charlotte (Stephanie Sherrin) Lawrence Chuck Walanda Emily and Katie. Together they organize the student body to take on Weller and make real change at Booker High.

  I'm No Angel (Dir. Wesley Ruggles 1933): Mae West's reputation for tweaking the noses of film censors was well-established by the time she made I'm No Angel generally considered her most successful picture. The frank-speaking blonde bombshell delivered some of her most classic double entendres in this 1933 film her second consecutive outing opposite the luminous Cary Grant. The two had made She Done Him Wrong earlier that year and in I'm No Angel West does Grant wrong again to hilarious effect. West plays her typical floozy a carnival dancer who escapes a murder charge and cozies her way into high society where she famously tells her maid: ""Beulah peel me a grape."" Eventually she wins Grant then drops him and sues him for breach of contract. Rarely has a more intelligent sexually powerful and dominant female figure been seen on screen and West is at her sizzling comic peak. Already a major entertainment figure West rode the popularity of I'm No Angel to greater notoriety but she never again teamed up with a male superstar so successfully. West's movies were among those most responsible for bringing a new era of censorship after the early 1930s. Klondike Annie (Dir. Raoul Walsh 1936): Mae West stars as beautiful Rose Carlton a kept woman who escapes to Alaska and the Gold Rush of the 1890s after commiting a murder in self-defense. There she is redeemed by becoming a missionary saving souls in her own risque style.

  The Snows Of Kilimanjaro: This lavish big-budget blockbuster combined tales from Ernest Hemingway's life with Papa's already famous autobiographical novel of the same name. As Harry (Gregory Peck) lies wounded and delirious in an African campsite at the foot of the snow-covered slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro he recounts the story of his life in a series of flashbacks. Writing women and big-game hunting - these are the things that have defined and dominated his existence. In pursuit of all three he has travelled the globe from the salons of Bohemian Paris to the battlefields of Spain to the plains of Africa. Now in the shadow of the greatest mountain and his own approaching death from gangrene he tries to make sense of his failures. Few Hemingway novels play as well onscreen as they do on paper but under the direction of Henry King Peck and Susan Hayward who plays Harry's devoted beau turn in inspired performances but both are eclipsed by Ava Gardner as Cynthia the love he lost. A Farewell To Arms: Ernest Hemingway's tragic story was first brought to the screen in 1932 by Frank Borzage in a surprisingly sophisticated and respectful form. The director brilliantly alternates objective and subjective camerawork (for which Charles Lang won and Oscar) and obtains superior performances from his leading players Helen Hayes as the British nurse and the sublimely handsome and charming American Ambulance driver Gary Cooper. The storyline was difficult to get past the censors even in pre-code days but Paramount managed to release the film with only brief cuts. However the studio fretted that audiences would not accept the novel's bleak finale and insisted that Borzage film an alternate 'happy' ending.
