| RRP This episode from her CBS TV show recorded in December 1963 captures the great entertainer and her kids in a one-hour songfest taking place in the family living room. Also featured is Judy singing two of her most memorable film songs--""Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"" and ""Over the Rainbow""--plus ""Little Drops of Rain"". Even one of her flubs produces one of the best moments: she joins Mel Torm at the piano for his ""Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire) "" and when she botches the lyric he gently chides her ""Close!"" Also on hand is clean-cut pop star Jack Jones who sings his Grammy-winning hit ""Lollipops and Roses"" as well as a nice a cappella version of ""Hark the Herald Angels Sing"" with Torm.

Nighthawks 2: British director Ron Peck's look back at at the production of his groundbreaking Nighthawks which candidly explored a closeted gay schoolteacher's inner conflicts. The director tells very poignantly his own story of self-discovery and coming out. Most striking is the story of how much effort and determination it took to get Nighthawks made and why there are hundreds of names in the closing credits that the producers would like to give thanks to - they are people who sent in small amounts of money after reading in a London gay paper that the filmmakers needed funds to continue the project.

Mike (Duchovny) is fighting to put his sitcom into development, his vision, of a guy who, following his brother's suicide, rediscovers his joy in life, is slowly eroded by a network executive (Weaver) who favours trashy reality programming. Every crass suggestion she makes improves the show's response from test audiences and brings the show a step closer to getting on the air. Sometimes the satire is so close to the naked reality of TV development that it's more documentary than comedy, but Weaver gives an inspired performance that skirts truth and satire so adroitly it makes your skin tingle.
