Then you surely need to read more on Kittie.... This Canadian band was founded in 1996 by sisters Morgan and Mercedes Lander when they were barely on the cusp of adolescence. They were just 15 and 17 years of age when their first CD Spit was released on NG/Artemis records. Spit was quickly certified Gold and so far they have sold well over 1 250 000 units worldwide with 4 albums and 2 EPs under their belts. Now at the age of 24 and 26 they are accomplished musicians writers and well seasoned veterans of the industry. The band rose to success in 1999 when the track Brackish from their debut album Spit became a hit single. The band also supported Slipknot during the early 2000s on Slipknot's UK tour which strengthened the band's popularity.
