With Fitzcarraldo one of his most renowned films acclaimed German director Werner Herzog emulates Joseph Conrad's 'Heart of Darkness' in this mammoth epic set in the heart of the Amazon rainforest. Klaus Kinski stars as the wild-eyed entrepreneur Brian Sweeney Fitzgerald (the Indians call him Fitzcarraldo) who dreams of bringing opera to the jungle and is literally driven mad by his passion for music. The 25th Anniversary Edition of Fitzcarraldo comes packaged with Les Blank's award-winning documentary Burden of Dreams. Les Blank's documentary follows the making of the film which parallels the quest to bring opera to the jungle with the director's own determination to see his project to the screen. Stars Jason Robards and Mick Jagger both pull out midway through the shoot before weather woes bad feelings on-set and a war between Peru and Ecuador all conspire to hold up the production. What does emerge is Herzog's remarkable dogmatic attitude towards the chaos.
In this lurid shocker (Leonard Maltin), a newspaper advice columnist (Marianna Hill, Blood Beach) starts receiving threats from a mysterious person. At the same time, the female members of her psychiatrist's (Klaus Kinski, Crawlspace) therapy group are being murdered one by one by a maniac wielding a large pair of scissors. Could these incidents be linked? Donna Wilkes (Angel, Jaws 2), Craig Wasson (Body Double), Flo Gerrish (Don't Answer The Phone) and Christopher Lloyd (Back To The Future) also star.
Lewis Collins (Who Dares Wins / The Professional) is back in another Macaroni Combat classic from Italian B-movie legend Antonio Margheriti (Cannibal Apocalypse/ Commando Leopard), where a team of seasoned mercenaries attempt to cut off the western supply of Heroin by destroying Opium factories in the infamous Golden Triangle. Now, deep in the Thai jungle, Collins and his deadly band of hired guns hook up with a troop of rebel fighters and steal a helicopter so they can launch a deadly attack on the labs producing the drugs they seek to keep off the streets. Code Name: Wild Geese is a Euro-action classic with a cast including Lee Van Cleef, Ernest Borgnine and Klaus Kinski. It’s another low-budget high-action spectacular saved from 80s video shop hell by ArrowDrome. Special Features: Trailers Collector's Booklet by James Blackford

Featuring some of Italian exploitation cinemas finest beauties, Rosalba Neri, Cheryl Hume and Monica Strebel, Cold Blooded Beast is a sleazy delight for anyone with passing interest in the seedier side of the genre. 88 Films are proud to present the film uncut, and in HD, for the first time in the UK!
Director Luigi Bazzoni's unique vision of 'FOOTPRINTS ON THE MOON' is brought to life by the striking cinematography of Vittorio Storaro (three-time Oscar® winner including 'Apocalypse Now'). Florinda Bolkan ('Flavia The Heretic') delivers a masterful, nuanced performance bringing captivating depth to the character of Alice - a young translator grappling with memory loss. Tormented by nightmare visions of a sinister scientist (Klaus Kinski) deliberately abandoning astronauts to die on the Moon, Alice is struggling to recall three missing days. A mysterious postcard beckons her to the enigmatic island of Garma. Once there, an unsettling revelation unfolds: the inhabitants recognise her presence during the unaccounted-for days, not as Alice, but as another person named Nicole. Confronting uncomfortable truths, Alice embarks on a quest to unravel the mystery shrouding her identity and the events of those missing days - a quest which culminates in murder and an extraordinarily surreal finale. Touching on mental health issues as well as on climate change, it resonates with today's challenges while immersing viewers in an emotionally charged experience that transcends the ordinary. 'FOOTPRINTS' unfolds as a mesmerising exploration of identity and the boundaries of perceived reality, memory, dreams, and existential mysteries; it stands as the most haunting and visually stunning Giallo you will ever see, presented here restored from 4K scans of the original camera negative, finally doing justice to the exquisite unearthly visions of its creators. Clint Eastwood's Man with No Name spawned imitations, variations and shameless rip-offs keen to emulate his success at the box office. Within months of A Fistful of Dollars' release, Giuliano Gemma was playing Ringo, who was then followed by Franco Nero's Django, Tony Anthony's The Stranger and Gianni Garko's Sartana each providing their own twist on the Eastwood antihero, and each of them then subject to their own spate of unofficial sequels, spoofs and cash-ins. Sartana tapped into more than just his Spaghetti Western predecessors a mysterious figure, he has a spectral quality, aided by his Count Dracula-alike cloak which also nods towards comic strip figure Mandrake the Magician, with whom he shares he shares a penchant for card tricks. He takes pride in his appearance unlike the Eastwood's dusty wanderer or Nero's mud-caked drifter. And there's a dose of James Bond too in his fondness for gadgetry and the droll sense of humor. Unsurprisingly, this unique figure in the genre was treated to four official follow-ups. The Complete Sartana collects all five films, presented here in brand-new restorations: If You Meet Sartana...
