Monte Hellman) (1971): Two car enthusiasts drive a 1955 Chevy throughout the south western U.S looking for other cars to race. Stars musicians James Taylor and Dennis Wilson of The Beach Boys. They decide to race a middle-aged man GTO (Warren Oates) to Washington DC where the winner gets the loser's car. The film follows their adventures along the way.
