Academy Award-winning actor Marlon Brando captures the extraordinary contradictions and complexity of a decent man who winds up as a Nazi officer. The Young Lions tells the story of World War II from both sides. The American represented by Montgomery Clift and Dean Martin. And the German made tragically vivid by Brando. Based on the novel by Irwin Shaw. The Young Lions is a provocative insightful movie. It is also one of Brando's all-time best.

Even as Disney has revelled in the success of its high-end animated features, it occasionally sneaks a lesser effort into cinemas, based on one of the many TV shows with which it dominates daytime TV. This one is based on perennial Disney favourite Goofy's adventures in domesticated bliss. Goofy is now a single dad; when son Max gets blamed for a prank gone wrong at school, Goofy blames himself and decides that, for his vacation, he's going to get away with Max alone. Of course, this is no treat for Max, who has just met the girl of his dreams and harbours no wish to spend the summer touring America with his square dad. The vacation is one disaster after another, though they aren't particularly funny disasters; the culmination involves Goofy's efforts to get Max backstage at a big rock concert. --Marshall Fine

Morecambe and Wise, undoubtedly the best-loved double act that Britain has ever produced, first achieved their phenomenal television success in the early 1960s with this long-running hit series for ATV. Among the many guest stars are Roy Castle, Joe Brown, Kathy Kirby, Susan Maughan, The Bachelors and Acker Bilk. This eight disc set contains all 48 editions of Two of a Kind (aka The Morecambe and Wise Show) alongside a wealth of special features including an exceptionally rare early performance from 1957, several appearances on Val Parnell's Saturday Spectacular and the two surviving editions of Piccadilly Palace.
