  Reeling from devastating personal tragedy, a man and his 9-year-old daughter struggle to stitch the pieces of their lives back together in a homeless tent-village deep in the Appalachian woods. To make things worse, the girl is suffering from severe night terrors and hallucinations of ghostly visitors. The father is at his wit's end as to how to rescue her from these tormenting apparitions. He turns in every possible direction for help psychiatry, hypnosis, priests, séances and mediums. But it isn't until he is brought face to face with himself and his own heart-wrenching mistakes that he finds the solution to his little girl's nightmares.
