  In Claude Chabrol's fiftieth film two lifelong partners in crime Betty (Isabelle Hupert) and Victor (Michel Serrault) operating out of a small RV criss-cross the country hopping from convention to convention and scamming bourgeois businessmen out of petty sums of money.
