  This documentary takes a look at the life and career of 'the Divine Ponytail' Roberto Baggio. Born in Caldogno on February 18th 1967 Roberto Baggio may be the greatest forward that Italy has ever produced. A career of remarkable highs and lows it always seemed that a triumph would quickly be followed by a disaster. Clearly one of the best players at the 1994 World Cup Baggio dragged the Italians into the final with his deft footwork incredible movement and sublime vision only to be denied by a wayward penalty kick in the shootout denouement to the final against Brazil (in truth they were probably beaten having already missed 2 in the shootout). At the end of his long and illustrious career Baggio had a veritable smorgasbord of titles and trophies for his efforts including: World Player of the Year 1993 European Footballer of the Year 1993 Series A Championship winners 1994/1995 and 1995/1996 and many more. All that and his international shirt number was retired when he bid farewell to the game - probably one of the greatest honours you can receive in the game. This documentary features interviews with residents from Roberto Baggio's hometown and the people who were influential in his life. Not only that but Baggio himself offers his own thoughts on his achievements.
