Maine Dil Tujhko Diya, produced by the renowned Khan family, is not only directed by Sohail Khan but also marks his acting debut. The film is a contemporary love story and has all the ingredients of a Bollywood blockbuster: a moving love story, great action, beautiful songs and soul-stirring performances by both Sohail Khan and newcomer Sameera. Set on a college campus, the film follows the love story of Ajay (Sohail Khan), an orphan who has a reputation of do-gooder and protector of the innocent, and Ayesha (Sameera), the daughter of rich businessman Mr Verma (Kabir Bedi). Until Ayesha joins college, Ajay spends his days in fun, frolic and fight with his closest friends the "Aryans", who join him as the security team at college. But falling in love with Ayesha comes at a price: her father, disapproving of their relationship, hires Bhaijaan, a dangerous hit man, to get rid of Ajay. Soon Ajay finds himself fighting for both his love and his life until the plot thickens and his biggest enemy becomes his chief protector. On the DVD: Maine Dil Tujhko Diya on disc has trailers for forthcoming films, various song and scene selections and a special section dedicated to the making of the film itself. --Anika Puri
