1000 ways to kill a man and he knows them all. Jimmy Liu is the son of master Lung Tzu leader of the famed Dragon Boxing sect. Lung Tzu is challenged and killed by Ling Fung (Hwang Jang Lee) an outcast master of the Dragon Claw system. Jimmy and his mother go into hiding and plan their revenge. After training diligently in the secret techniques of Dragon Boxing Jimmy challenges Ling Fung to a showdown that is truly in the Jackie Chan tradition. Directed by legendary director/producer Joseph Kuo this film was adapted from a script originally written for Jackie Chan.
Chop-socky madness oriental-style! Bruce Li dons the Bruceploitation mask once more... Here we see Chen Shen (Bruce Li) returning to his home town of Macao with his brother Chen Zhen's (Bruce Lee) ashes to be laid to rest. He goes to see his blind mother and younger brother but not before being confronted by Mr Chu the interpreter and a gang of Japanese warriors. After dealing with them he makes a promise to his mother not to fight again and tries to start a new life but the Japanese are everywhere. Shen goes to see his uncle where his top student Shun Shu Tang gets jealous of Shen's return and feels he will take over the school and claim his teacher's daughter for his bride. Meanwhile the Japanese recognise Chen Shen as the brother of Chen Zhen and the one who finally put an end to the Hung Ku School in Shanghai. Revenge and old scores have to be settled by the Japanese. They use the interpreter to disgrace and accuse Chen Shen of murder and kill Shen's mother and younger brother. Chen can stand this treachery no more so turns his hands yet again to fists of fury. This is a great movie for all kung fu fans and sees a return performance of Wei Ping Ao who comes back as the evil interpreter Mr Chu.
In 1972 Bruce lee agreed to action direct a film for his bestfriend Unicorn Chan. The result was this action-packed fightfest featuring some of kung fu cinema's top names like HwangIn Shik Jackie Chan Gee Han Jay Alan Hsu and even Bruce Lee. Lung lives the peaceful life of a vagabond but always being on the road with no friends or future can take its toll over time. One day Lung befriends a young acrobat named Tiger and accepts an invitation to stay with the boy and his mother in exchange for his services as a handyman. However peaceful days turn to memories when Tiger insults a man in public. That man is Wong the eldest son of the boss of a criminal organization. During that day Wong tried to make advances on a beautiful girl who was part of a group of travelling acrobats but the girl rejected him only to be confronted by Wong's henchmen later on. During the conflict most of the acrobat performers were killed. Barely alive the girl escapes to end up under Lung and Tiger's protection.
