A group of aliens (voiced by 'Monty Python' members Jones, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle and Michael Palin) are planning to destroy Earth but before doing so test mankind by giving one human, Neil Clarke (Pegg), the power to do absolutely anything. Unbeknownst to him, if he uses the power for good he will save his planet. As he tries to adjust to his new ability he is assisted by his dog Dennis (voice of Robin Williams). Will Neil be able to prove he is worthy of such power and save the Earth from being eliminated? The cast also includes Kate Beckinsale, Joanna Lumley, Rob Riggle, Sanjeev Bhaskar and Eddie Izzard.
