Martin Scorsese's remake of the classic 1961 thriller. Tattooed psychopath Max Cady (Robert De Niro) has spent his 14-year prison term fermenting his bitterness towards attorney Sam Bowden (Nick Nolte), whom he blames for his incarceration.
