Bruce Willis is back as supercop John McClane in this, the fourth instalment of the smash action franchise.
You know the drill by now - McClane is forced into doing stuff he doesn't want to do/no one else will do it. Again.
Be warned this version is heavily cut over the unrated edition.
Picture and sound quality is superb (as expected) but the poor editing at times shows the actor's mouths saying something more ruder than what you hear.
The final 10mins although daft is a home cinema feast as bullets, explosions, the big rig and the plane rumble the subwoofer and rear speakers to full effect BUT I can't help feel somewhat cheated by the "Yippee ki yay mother- BANG" hear.
Bruce knows this role inside out so just goes through the motions, Timothy Olyphart (or however you say it) is no Alan Rickman and lacks the threat of a decent villian. Watchable but instantly forgettable.
