Japanese musical comedy directed by Takashi Miike. When bad boy Makoto (Satoshi Tsumabuki) appears at the prestigious Aobadai High School, Ai (Emi Takei) recognises him from a scar she accidentally gave him years previously. Believing that this scar is somehow connected to Makoto's inability to form any kind of relationship with another person, Ai makes it her goal to help him. But when he is kicked out of school and transferred to the much rougher Hanazono High, which is ruled over by Yuki Takahara (Ito Ôno) and his gang, it's just the beginning of Ai's tough battle to win Makoto's heart.
