Andrew Niccol writes and directs this domestic war drama starring Ethan Hawke and January Jones. Major Thomas Egan (Hawke) is a US Air Force fighter pilot who has started to question the ethics behind his role in piloting drones in the Middle East. At work, Egan sits in front of a screen and kills terrorists without ever putting himself in danger while missing more and more the adrenalin rush that flying brings.
