Documentary directed by Alan G. Parker commemorating the 50th anniversary of the release of the Beatles' legendary album, 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band'. An immediate success and a symbol of 1960s counterculture, the Beatles' eighth studio album broke new ground in the music industry both in terms of its conceptual structure and its innovative technical and design elements. The band continued to cement their position in history and 50 years later this seminal album is still recognised as perhaps the most important ever to be recorded. Parker examines the context of the album's production and the Beatles' significance then and now through archive footage and interviews with their fellow musicians, their family and the Beatles themselves.

Please note this is a region B Blu-ray and will require a region B or region free Blu-ray player in order to play. INCLUDES OVER 4.5 HOURS EXCLUSIVE BONUS MATERIAL.
