William Hanna and Joseph Barbera direct and produce this feature-length animated adventure following the Jetson family. When George Jetson (voice of George O'Hanlon) receives a promotion, he excitedly moves to outer space with the rest of the Jetson clan: Jane (Penny Singleton), Judy (Tiffany), Elroy (Patric Zimmerman), Rosie the Robot (Jean Vander Pyl) and their trusty canine Astro (Don Messick). George is alarmed when he discovers his new employers are wreaking ecological destruction and demolishing the homes of the affable underground-dwelling Grungies. With the help of his family, George looks for a solution that pleases his company and the Grungies.
