Kiyoshi Kurosawa directs this Japanese fantasy drama. The film follows piano teacher Mizuki (Eri Fukatsu) as she is reunited with her husband Yusuke (Tadanobu Asano) who was lost at sea and presumed dead three years ago. Yusuke, however, makes it clear the return of his spirit is only temporary and takes his wife on a cross-country journey to show her all of the beautiful places he's visited on his long voyage home. Yusuke also introduces his wife to some of the other spirits he has met along the way who share their experiences of the afterlife and their regrets about their time spent alive on Earth with the couple.
