Super villain Megamind (Will Ferrell) has just defeated his arch nemesis, good-guy Metro Man (Brad Pitt), protector of the entire city. He can now have anything he wants and plans to lay ruin to Metro City. Surprisingly, after a while, things become monotonous and boring for Megamind as his demands start to become too easy for him - battling the hero was part of the fun of being a super-villain. Feeling a little deflated Megamind decides to create a new foe in the shape of nerdy Hal (Jonah Hill). Turning Hal into new hero Tighten, he now has an arch enemy once more.... However, what Megamind didn't bargain for was Tighten, instead of using his powers for good; he uses them to set out to destroy the world!
The tables are turned - Megamind and his sidekick Minion (David Cross) might actually have to do something, they might actually have to save the day!
The ultimate story of the most unlikely hero, Megamind is a hilarious animation adventure for the whole family to enjoy.
