Murder 2 is about Simran (Jacquelin Fernandez) who is married to Sudhir (Ashmit Patel) but due to her lonely married life she gets into an affair with her college time lover Sunny (Emraan Hashmi), whom she accidentally meets after marriage, and when Sunny, is murdered, she is wrongfully accused, when it is actually her husband who has killed him.
