Paul Blart, played by 'King of Queens' star Kevin James, is an easy-going, family-man who has always dreamed of being a cop, but never gets past the physical test. Paul works as a shopping centre security guard and takes his role very seriously, although he's the only one who seems too! Then one day, the mall gets hijacked by a gang of thugs who take the shoppers hostage. With a strong sense of duty, Paul stays behind to protect his territory, becoming the cops' eyes and ears within the crime scene and finally getting his chance to play the hero and prove hes got... what it takes.
