Starring the spellbounding Andy Serkis (Monsters), Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll is the fresh, life-affirming biopic of legend Ian Dury, the flamboyant singer -songwriter of the Blockheads. Dury despite being disabled by polio at a young age, went on to help establish the punk-rock music scene in 1970's Britain before he died in 2000.
Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll, which was written by Paul Viragh, directed by Mat Whitecross and produced by Serkis himself, screened at the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival and received two BAFTA nominations.
