1980s horror. College student Alex Gardner (Nicholas Celozzi) has been experiencing terrifying dreams of a serial killer in Alcatraz and reliving his victims' gruesome deaths. To get to the bottom of these recurring nightmares, Alex visits the island with his friends but they soon become stranded in their own nightmare when Alex's brother Richard (Tom Reilly) is possessed by a malevolent demon. Can Alex and his friends, with help from the ghost of rock star Sammy Mitchell (Toni Basil), put an end to Richard's evil rampage and escape the cursed island?
