Gary Grimes, Bo Hopkins and Billy Green Bush star in this '70s Western. Yearning to be a cowboy, teenager Ben Mockridge (Grimes) convinces Frank Culpepper (Bush) to let him join his cattle drive to Fort Lewis, Colorado. On the journey, Ben learns the realities of cowboy life in the Wild West as the company is attacked by rustlers and he discovers that Culpepper has no intentions of helping or educating him.
