Japanese drama. The film follows Yokomichi Yonosuke (Kengo Kôra) who moves to Tokyo to attend university. A selfless and caring soul, Yonosuke brightens the lives of his friends and the people he meets, including Shoko (Yuriko Yoshitaka), the daughter of a wealthy businessman, who quickly falls for the young man. However, Yonosuke has his sights set on Chiharu (Ayumi Itô), an older woman. Sixteen years later, Yonosuke's friends recollect how he changed their lives for the better, while being oblivious to the tragedy that had befallen him later in his life...
