Indeed Bernard Cavanna has long worked for the theatre in particular with Jean Gillibert Antoine Vitez Stuart Seide Daniel Martin and Michel Berretti; for dance with choreographers Caroline Marcadé Angelin Preljocaj and Odile Duboc; and for the cinema with Pierre-Henry Salfaty and Alain Fleischer (with whom he has collaborated regularly for twenty years). Born in 1951 Bernard Cavanna was strongly encouraged by Henri Dutilleux Georges Aperghis and Aurèle Stroë to devote himself to composition.
