Ganga and Vijay get them married but permit them a married life only after they complete their studies which they do so. They are devastated to learn that Punam cannot be a mother so Ganga lets Punam mother her child. Soon Sharad gets a job which gets him to re-locate to another city and there are tearful good-byes. Prakash meets an accident and is in need of blood Kamini gives her blood and salves his life. But Anil seeing the possibility of Kamini re-entering his life decides to leave Kashmir. Kamini is left alone on the crossroads of life and all the money in the world cannot compensate for the lack of apnapan that closeness with another soul of which she has been deprived forever!
