Justin Edgar directs this coming-of-age drama set in the 1990s following three friends at a pivotal moment in their lives. The central character of the film is Jack (Jamie Blackley), a young man whose poor background hasn't quelled his hopes for a brighter future and who anxiously awaits news on whether he has been accepted for a university grant or not. He is joined for a Friday night out by Parsons (Mike Bailey), whose future appears to be in the hands of his parents and wilful girlfriend C.
Jasper is a filmmaker on the verge of a nervous breakdown. His last hope of creating a cinematic masterpiece lies with a group of disabled teenagers at a rundown London community centre. Jasper aims to make a truthful film from the young people's own experiences. In the end however the kids have a different idea about the film they want to make and about the reality of their own lives.
