An old 8mm filmroll from the summer of 1965 depicts a party in a flat in Malm, Sweden. We see the local pop idols and in crowd having fun. They are young and happy, being a part of the breakthrough of the popmusic in the 60s. Among them there are some exclusive guests: Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Brian Jones in the Rolling Stones.40 years later we meet the people on the filmroll again to see how life has changed. Rolling Like a Stone is a documentary about those whose identity was formed during some years in the middle of the sixties. But it s also a film about how hard it is to live in the presence and getting old together with your dreams.The film contains unique archive footage from the 60 s in Malm, Sweden, including Club Bongo, the Swedish groups Namelosers, Gonks and of course, The Rolling Stones in Baltiska Hallen, Malm, the summer of 1965.
