In this DVD we take an extensive look at freight and passenger trains at the newly refurbished Rugby station. We filmed during the construction of the new station in 2001 and 2003. Mail trains were still a common sight and the Class 87s were hauling Virgin trains; plenty of action here with lots of freightliner 47s, 57s and of course 66s. Many workings were filmed including Class 90s and 92s and much more. Locations visited were Little Lawford, Stretton Wharf, Ansty and along the Oxford Canal for some fast paced action from freight and passenger trains. We see newly refurbished Class 508 units and fast Mail trains all filmed in wonderful summer sunshine.
