  The story is of the late Ming Dynasty period. Tutashan - a country hunter in revenge of his earlier defeat finally catches up and defeats Yehai. The hero is shamed into committing suicide. Tutashan adopts Yehai's little son Hsaohu in spite of knowing Hsaoho's hatred for him for having destroyed Ting Hua Ching his father.
