Made at Nettlefold studios,Walton, it was Wolf Rilla's debut film. Col Tom Forester, (Raymond Huntley) is about to retire from the army and marry an american widow (Barbara Kelly who was married in real life to Bernard Bradon) - but his children object and Barbara must use all her skills to survive! Raymond Huntley performed in 136 productions including The Dam Busters and Room At The Top.

    Wolf Rilla (Village Of The Damned) directed this 1960 UK production it is very well cast with Terence Morgan at his most oiliest as a playboy petty thief looking for the big time John Crawford as a yank in London comes across well as the bad tempered crook and William Hartnell as the crusty safecracker. The music by Phillip Green is great 60s jazz which adds to this excellent production picture and sound are of a high standard following extensive restoration - recommended.

But things take a sorry turn when Mayne begins to suspect that Reid has committed a murder. STOCK CAR - The fast paced world of stock car racing provides the backdrop of this British adventure. The story centres on Katie Glebe as she attempts to save her fathers failing garage after he is killed during a race. She ends up assisted by an American driver, Larry Duke. Unfortunately, creditor Turk McNeil is determined to take the garage to repay a debt. Real trouble ensues when Turks lover Gina becomes interested in Larry.

As Stephen and his wife Barbara (Dorothy Alison) are unable to have children the arrival of Tod is a welcome blessing. But when the young tearaway struggles to adapt to respectable family life they begin to question their decision. Tod and Stephen's shared love for music however helps build a bond and family life becomes happy once again until Tod's father returns with a new wife and demands his son back.

Witness in the DarkThis second feature stars Patrica Dainton as a blind girl who witnesses the thief turned murderer of her upstairs friend and neighbour. Also stars Conrad Phillips and Nigel Green. Directed by Wolf Rilla just before he directed Village of the Damned.
