To the south, the Allies were battling in northern Italy and to the east, the Soviets were poised to strike into the Fatherland itself. Hitler's Twilight: Battle For The Fatherland tells the story of the Fhrer's last great offensive, The Battle of the Bulge, and the desperate attempts to rally his people before the subsequent annihilation of Germany's forces in the west. 'Hitler's Twilight: The Race to Berlin' tells the story of the desperate German defence of East Prussia, Pomerania and the River Oder against the last massive Soviet winter offensive in the East. With the Oder Line breached, the Soviets surge into Germany itself and assault Berlin. The capture of the German capital and the death of Hitler mark the final humiliating defeat of Germany in World War II and the end of the Nazi dream. The Enemy At The Gates:In 1939, Adolf Hitler had started the Second World War in Europe to further the creation of his Thousand Year Reich. By the summer of 1944 his plans were in tatters. 'The Enemy at the Gates' tells the story of the fractious relationship between the Fhrer, the Oberkommando der Wehrmacht and the succession of generals responsible for the defence of France, as the Reich's Fortress Europe crumbles and the German army is forced back against the borders of the Fatherland. Journey back in time to the dawn of the dinosaurs. It’s widely accepted that ferocious dinosaurs and large mammals once roamed America, but few people realise that prehistoric creatures once stalked the exact sites where major cities and the most famous landmarks in the world now stand. Prehistoric takes you back in time to see what stood, lived, fought and died in our own back yards hundreds, thousands and even millions of years ago. Watch as the high-rises and sprawl of modern Los Angeles revert to farmland and settlements, then desert. Spinning back further in time, a lush green land prowled by woolly mammoths and sabre-toothed tigers is revealed. Back even further, the land itself forms as two continental plates slam together in a violent upheaval. Rewinding to the age of dinosaurs, witness pterodactyls circling the skies over an ancient ocean filled with sharp-toothed marine dinosaurs in search of their prehistoric prey. Merging modern day architecture with a unique cast of bizarre extinct creatures, explore the action that took place across some of the biggest cities in the United States, including New York, Washington DC and Los Angeles.
