'Any Given Sunday' (1999) focuses on the Miami Sharks and the increasing conflict between team president Christina Pagniacci (Cameron Diaz) and coach Tony D'Amato (Pacino). When the next game in the season proves to be a victory, it leads to further problems when the star player Willie Beaman (Jamie Foxx) lets his success go to his head and begins to overrule the coach, while the all-important playoff game against Dallas looms on the horizon. In 'The Devil's Advocate' (1997) a talented lawyer from Florida is presented with an immense opportunity to work for one of the best law firms in New York City. 'Heat' (1995) sees a team of prolific criminals put under intense pressure from the police when one of their bank heists doesn't quite go according to plan. Finally, 'Dog Day Afternoon' (1975) tells the true story of a desperate man's attempt to rob a bank in order to pay for his lover's operation, and the media frenzy which develops as the situation spirals out of control.
