A passionately committed young dancer is forced to re-examine his career and life when faced with death, finding hope through an older man who becomes his lover, mentor and companion. A powerful and often comic English film which tells the story of Tonio (Jason Flemyng), an attractive and accomplished young dancer who loses his lover to AIDS. When he discovers he has the disease himself, he goes to see a therapist, who is himself angry and alcoholic.
