Journalist Jodie Black (Jane Elizabeth Barry) travels to the Australian bush with her cameraman Kevin Horner (Geoff Pinfield) to investigate claims of a local doomsday cult. When they arrive at the isolated community they meet the cult leader Michael Godson (David Macrae), whose followers believe him to be the earthly embodiment of God.
