Teen drama starring Vanessa Hudgens of 'High School Musical' fame. Will Burton (Gaelan Connell) is a huge music fan who is at a new school and trying to fit in, so when he is asked by Charlotte (Alyson Michalka) to get involved with her band he can't refuse. Charlotte gets the band together to compete in the battle of the bands competition, Bandslam, against her ex-boyfriend's band. As the unlikely combo practice and romance blossoms between Will and guitarist Sam (Hudgens), it becomes clear they have what it takes to make it, just as long as they all stick together.

When gifted singer-songwriter Charlotte Banks asks new kid in town Will Burton to manage her fledgling rock band, she appears to have just one goal in mind: go head-to-head against her egotistical ex-boyfriend Ben at the biggest even of the year, a battle of the bands.
