Battleship is a 2012 American Sci-Fi action adventure based on the traditional strategic/logical guessing game - battleships. A small international fleet of ships including some from the US Navy encounter an alien armada during a scheduled Naval exercise. The aliens have invaded Hawaii imprisoning the inhabitants and inflicting chaos on the surrounding area. The naval ships are quickly forced into violent battle and the small party of Naval Officers and civilians soon realise that only they can save the planet from this unknown, incredibly formidable extra-terrestrial... aggressor.
As the rest of the world await impending doom, powerless to help themselves, will the small fleet be able to save them from these highly superior, alien invaders in time to liberate the world? Battleship stars Taylor Kitsch, Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgård and Brooklyn Decker.
