In 1962 Poet Laureate John Betjeman made six television programmes, each eulogizing the buildings of a different town. Three retain the original soundtrack, whilst Nigel Hawthorne narrates on the others, drawing from Betjeman's original script. The areas looked at are: 'Swindon and North Lew'; 'Chippenham and Crewkerne'; 'Devizes'; 'Sherborne'; 'Sidmouth'; and 'Bath'.
