Arizona is a state rich in history, inhabited at various times by Spanish conquistadors and Apache warriors, pioneer settlers and goldminers. Today it attracts a different kind of explorer, the birdwatcher, to its Southern border with Mexico where they can view both the marvellous scenery and the spectacular birds of the Madera Canyon.
