Please note this is a region 2 DVD and will require a region 2 (Europe) or region Free DVD Player in order to play. All 22 episodes from the first season of the US crime drama. Dr Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) is a highly skilled, lonely forensic anthropologist who works at the Jeffersonian Institute and writes novels as a sideline. She is approached by an ambitious FBI agent, Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) of the FBI's Homicide Investigations Unit. He wants her to assist the bureau with murder investigations when the standard methods of identifying a body are useless, especially when the remains are badly decomposed, burned or destroyed beyond recognition. Brennan's special expertise lies in her uncanny ability to read clues left behind in the victim's bones. A former Army sniper, Booth mistrusts science and scientists who pore over the physical evidence, the 'squints', as he calls them. Booth believes the key to solving crimes is through good old-fashioned investigative work, discovering the truth from those still alive, the witnesses and suspects. Brennan and Booth repeatedly clash both professionally and personally, but there is a spark between but that is only portrayed in a fictionalised account in Brennan's latest mystery novel. Episodes are: 'Pilot'; 'The Man in the SUV'; 'The Boy in the Tree'; 'The Man in the Bear'; 'A Boy in a Bush'; 'The Man in the Wall'; 'A Man on Death Row'; 'The Girl in the Fridge'; 'The Man in the Fallout Shelter'; 'The Woman at the Airport'; 'The Woman in the Car'; 'The Superhero in the Alley'; 'The Woman in the Garden'; 'The Man on the Fairway'; 'Two Bodies in the Lab'; 'The Woman in the Tunnel'; 'The Skull in the Desert'; 'The Man With the Bone'; 'The Man in the Morgue'; 'The Graft in the Girl'; 'The Soldier in the Grave'; and 'Woman in Limbo'.
