Thriller shot in Vancouver, directed by Christian Alvart and starring Renee Zellweger, Ian McShane and Jodelle Ferland. Emily Jenkins (Zellweger) is a family services social worker, assigned to a new case involving a ten-year-old girl named Lilith (Ferland). As she investigates, Emily soon realises that the troubled Lilith is in real danger from her parents, so she takes her in herself and offers to look after her until a suitable foster home can be found. However, she discovers to her horror that the situation is far worse than she could ever have imagined.
