Low-budget Irish thriller set in Dublin. Emmet Scanlan stars as Charlie, an embittered middle-class man whose tendencies towards misanthropy and sociopathy, particularly towards the city's impoverished underclasses or 'skangers', reach new heights after he accidentally kills a working-class girl in a hit-and-run car accident. After the accident, Charlie abandons any semblance of a moral code, abdicating all responsibility for his actions and resolving to make all his decisions from now on by turning over playing cards to determine his fate.
