A collection of comedies starring cult joint-toting duo Richard 'Cheech' Marin and Tommy Chong. In 'Born in East LA' (1987), third-generation Hispanic American Cheech is accidentally deported to Mexico. Despite the fact that he is American-born and can't speak a word of Spanish, the immigration authorities refuse to let him come home, and he becomes involved in all sorts of mad schemes. In 'Cheech and Chong's Next Movie' (1980), Cheech works as a delivery man for a Hollywood studio, but is constantly put in hot water by the antics of his stoner friend Chong. A massage parlour and the living room of a wealthy family are just two of the locations descending into chaos after a visit from the hapless pair. In 'Things are Tough All Over' (1982), crazy Arab Prince Habib (Chong) and his brother Mr Slyman (Cheech), hire two chauffeurs (also played by Cheech and Chong) to drive a limousine to Las Vegas - with $5 million secretly stashed in the front seat. In order to get to Las Vegas, the pair sell off the car piece by piece including the seven-figure front seat and then find that there is a much bigger problem - Slyman and Habib are on their tails swearing to kill them, but only after the appropriate torture. 'Get Out of My Room' comprises four video shorts linked by a spoof documentary on their making. Films included are: 'Get Out of My Room', 'I'm Not Home Right Now', 'Love is Strange' and 'Born in East LA'. In 'Nice Dreams' (1981), Cheech and Chong look set to realise their greatest dreams by selling a special recipe ice cream. But things start to go badly wrong when Cheech meets his lost love whose psychotic boyfriend is on the rampage and Chong exchanges their wealth for a worthless cheque. The only way to get the money back is to escape into a local insane asylum.
